"THE FORT” AT BLUEJACK NATIONAL
Asked to design the children’s pool at this exclusive golf-oriented community at Tiger Woods Design’s first U.S. course, LANDology provided far more than a fun pool area that lives up to it’s given name, The Fort. LANDology recognized potential pitfalls and missed opportunities with the current site plan so they moved quickly. Despite the recreation center and adult pool already fixed and under construction, the remaining recreation elements were reorganized against a new circulation system to embrace the site’s topographic vantage point, incorporate a Low Impact Development approach to storm water management and alleviate visitor and emergency vehicle congestion and conflict with golf carts and pedestrians.
