Greenspoint Office Campus
LANDology’s work for Hines at their Greenspoint Office Campus began with the design of GP2 Park which was formerly home to a TGI Friday’s restaurant. We successfully reclaimed this site to become a beautiful, passive garden retreat complete with pedestrian scaled seating rooms that are continually used by office goers for outdoor working and dining. The intimate Folding Planes sculpture plaza serves as both a public seating area for a Metro bus stop as well as an iconic public art installation signifying the entrance to a heavily landscaped pedestrian way bisecting the campus, referred to as “The Million Dollar Mile.” LANDology has been instrumental in transitioning the campus plant palette to more native and lower maintenance selections. Given the great success and tenant response to GP2 Park, we later designed and implemented GP5 Park which provided additional outdoor seating adjacent to a lunchtime cafeteria.
